one of my favorite Zizek bits has to do with Rumsfeld bc it’s Zizek commenting on that speech Rumsfeld gave about “known knowns”, “known unknowns” and “unknown unknowns” (Rumsfeld was trying to hype up the threat Iraq posed) and Zizek would go “but you see something is missing from the square, what about unknown knowns?” and then Zizek would go off about ideology and Lacan but anyway what i found funny is Zizek would start it off by being all “i will now talk about your great American philosopher in epistemology, Donald Rumsfeld” and that made me chuckle
